Questions

Where is my draft saved?

In your browser’s local storage on this device. Nothing is uploaded. Use “Clear draft” when you’re done if the computer is shared.

What’s the difference between a quote and an invoice?

A quote (or estimate) tells the client what a job will cost before you start. An invoice asks for payment once the work is done. Switching the toggle changes the title, labels and number prefix.

Does this calculate sales tax or VAT for me?

It applies the single rate you enter to the subtotal. Check the right rate for your location and service with your accountant or local tax office.

Can I add my logo?

Not in this free version. If you want branded quote and invoice templates, or a quoting tool on your own website, we can make one for you.

Want a website that does this for you?

WRSS brand collateral includes invoice and proposal designs that match your brand, and we build custom quoting tools that let customers price a job on your website. Templates and custom work, fixed price up front.
